As part of the ongoing Array consent application process, Ossian continues to engage with stakeholders.

Ossian has completed an extensive programme of surveys and assessments to better understand the environmental conditions of the offshore site. The programme of work included aerial surveys of marine mammals, site specific and regional ornithological surveys, benthic surveys, as well as geophysical and geotechnical investigations. 

As part of the consent application for the offshore array, the output of this work is a comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), which was submitted to the Scottish Government in 2024, with a package of Additional Information (AEI) submitted in 2025 and early 2026.

The AEI documents are available to view below and on our dedicated consultation website, they are also hosted on the Scottish Government’s Marine Directorate’s website.
